In 1893, Gallagher Transfer & Storage Co. consisted of a wagon & two mules. As time passed and the company grew, it added storage facilities, began experimenting with GMC electric vans and eventually purchased motorized vehicles.

In 1939, after 46 years of successful business, the late Paul Maloney Jr. purchased Gallagher. The business is now owned and operated locally by Robert Maloney Sr. and his wife of  56 years, Bonny. Gallagher maintains the same values and outstanding service as it did almost 125 years ago, and continues to strive to provide top-notch quality to its customers.

As time and communications have progressed, Gallagher has continued to improve and enlarge the services it provides to international clients. Gallagher's membership in the very best worldwide organizations has allowed the company to develop close personal relationships with the best agents in the world.

Gallagher does not broker its shipments through a van line or relocation service. The crews that handle the international imports and exports are specially trained to handle shipments with extraordinary skill and care. Gallagher's Container Freight Station even provides warehousing and service to clients such as NYK Steamship Lines, St. George Warehouse of CA, the U.S. Marshalls & U.S. Customs.

Another focus of Gallagher has been its Record Management department. Gallagher Records Management is a full-service climate-controlled records center that includes computerized indexing and inventory services for all media, schedules courier services, monthly activity reports, and certified destruction services.

We've recently added state-of-the art scanners to our records department and can handle all of your scanning needs.
